What is a home survey?

At Red Leaf Removals & Services, a survey can save money and time, so we highly recommend that this method is not disregarded as a time wasting process because you will in reality benefit from this service that we offer.

The goal of a Home Removal Survey is for the removals team at Red Leaf Removals & Services to inspect your property to assess the items that require moving and review your access points for taking your furniture in and out of the house.

How much does a home survey cost?

Home Removal Surveys are FREE; they are completely free and come with no obligations.

How does a home survey work?

  1. Our surveys are carried out by our senior staff members and usually by the owner of Red Leaf Removals & Services.

  2. Our team member will assess the contents of your whole home including the loft, shed, office and all rooms and cupboard spaces.

  3. Upon our visit, you will guide us around your home, notifying us of items that do and do not need to be moved, and items that need to be recycled or taken to a waste site by our team.

  4. We will also discuss items that will require specialist packing care including paintings, antiques, wall pictures or pianos.

Why do I need a home survey?

A home survey will provide you with a fixed price and an accurate time range on the amount of time your move will take. A survey is important because it means we have considered all things as accurate as possible to achieve a cost and time effective move for you. We can also inform you of any promotional moving discounts or offers we are doing at that time.

How long does a survey take?

On average a survey can take 30 minutes to complete. Once you have given us a walk through your home, you can ask us any questions and discuss additional services that you will need such as a locksmiths to change the locks at your new address.
